I do live recordings and CD/DVD projects. In the recent past I did quite a few acoustic recordings of various styles and a few exiting recordings of electroacoustic music for CDs.

I use high quality recording equipment :

÷ Apogee Rosetta 800 audio interfaces, Metric Halo Mobile I/O, RME Fireface 800

÷ Many excellent microphones, among others
- Schoeps microphones (MK4s, MK41s, MK2s, MK8s, ORTF stereo, Boundary mics)
- Neumann microphones (KM 184s matched pairs, TLM 103s, U87s, stereo USM69s)
- AKG MD421s, MD441s),
- Coles 4038 ribbon mics
- Soundfield surround microphone

÷ Very low noise and flexible Focusrite 828 preamps (for 32 channels)

The material is mobile and can be moved within a reasonable range (I live in Beijing).

Under a heavy snow storm the musicians came to the smallest of the recording studios at BFA. The Trio performed improvised electro acostic music - the mixes are almost done (as of end of december) and I hope the CD will be  published soon. Fabulous music! Here's an extract.
